"Arts, crafts and sciences uplift the world of being,

and are conducive to its exaltation.

Knowledge is as wings to man's life,

and a ladder for his ascent."           Ba’u’lláh

"The painter of the future will be a colorist
such as the world has never seen." Vincent Van Gogh

"In this wonderful new age, art is worship."

"What bestowal could be greater than this, that one's

art should be even as the act of worshiping the Lord?"

‘Abdu'l-Baha

"Imagination is more important than intelligence."

Art is not about mere decoration only for the sake of attraction.
It is a primary cornerstone of civilization. It is more akin to faith,
a commitment of one’s life to something higher and more noble in the
human spirit than can be put into words. This deeper kind of beauty
becomes the harvest of one's life, a footprint left in the cold snow of
history that an artist must leave behind himself as his journey unfolds.

Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman and Paul Klee are among the twentieth
century painters whose influence is at work in me. Yet it is the ideas of
artists such as William Blake and Mishkin Qalam that most move me.
